Spotlight on Kent's construction industry

January, 2014

No matter how enthusiastic you are about the development world, few people have the time to read all the relevant news covered in the local and national media.

Maxim’s Kentcentric was recently established to bring together the highlights of the county’s development and construction industry.

Putting the spotlight on major projects, whether at the design stage, as they travel through the planning process or finally go through construction and completion, Kentcentric aims to both inform and spark debate.

As confidence among Kent’s development community rises Maxim continues to support many investors, utility and property companies, and sees Kentcentric as an opportunity to highlight these more optimistic times.

Director Andrew Metcalf said: “We want to make Kentcentric a source of news and views on the work of the county's property industry, sharing relevant and timely information, as well as inviting discussion on topics of interest to landowners, developers and the investment community.

“We also want to provide the opportunity for other consultants, such as architects, planners and surveyors, to share their news and views and celebrate the wealth of development knowledge here in Kent.”

The launch of Kentcentric follows Maxim’s recent announcement that it is a main sponsor of the Kent Design & Development Awards 2014, which recognise the design excellence of the county’s property and construction industry, alongside DHA Planning and Kent County Council.

If you have news that you want to share with the county’s development community, send it to erica@maxim-pr.co.uk or call 01892 513033.
