Maxim fuels growth

Brief

• Established in 1979, Cockett Marine Oil has grown to become one of the world’s largest traders and physical suppliers of marine fuels, and part of the South African-based Grindrod Group and Vitol. 

• Maxim’s role is to support the marketing team with global marketing campaigns and activities, as well as to launch a new bunkers-only service which involves the physical supply of marine fuels to the world’s shipping operators.

Results and highlights

• Maxim successfully helped to launch Cockett Marine Oil’s new bunkers-only service in the English Channel to the world’s shipping operators, through media briefings, press releases and the ongoing promotion of an advertising campaign in print and online. Maxim was also responsible for briefing one of its network of designers, copywriting adverts, purchasing advertising space and managing the approval process. 

• Subsequent projects have involved the design and production of exhibition equipment as well as a series of international marketing briefs for Cockett Marine Oil and its network of international offices, plus its physical supply division V-Marine Fuels.
