Maxim goes for growth
With an ever-increasing demand for its services, Maxim, one of the south east’s leading public relations agencies, has adopted a ‘go for growth’ strategy with the appointment of a former journalist with an extensive editorial track record.

Andy Rayfield, joins the Tunbridge Wells-based agency, from Kent Messenger Group where he had worked for 12 years, the last six as Senior Editor Special Publications responsible for producing the group’s supplements including Kent Business, What’s On and Focus magazine.

Although the country’s economy has entered into a sharp recession, Maxim has seen an increased demand for its media relations having recently been appointed by Acorn Recruitment, Buzzlines and Vertex Law.

Commenting on his appointment, Andy Rayfield, said: “I am delighted to be joining such an established and respected agency.

“I had a lot of contact with the team here while at the Kent Messenger and was always impressed by their professionalism and talent. I am excited to be joining them at such an important time in their growth.’’

Andrew Metcalf, Director at Maxim, said: “Andy’s considerable skills, both editorially and background in publishing, will make him a great addition to our already very strong team.

Andy, aged 42, lives in Birling, near West Malling.
